What security measures are and are not supported?
Devices supports WEP, WPA, WPA2 Personal, WPA/WPA2 Enterprise (identity/password combination. WPA2 networks requiring certificate-based authorization are not supported as there is no method to load a certificate on the device.
Warning!
For Enterprise networks please use PEAP0 or PEAP1 from the drop down list. Do Not use TLS our devices do not support TLS certificate based authorization.
NOTICE!
Our devices do not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi connections and only connects to 2.4 GHz frequency.
What is the size of the data packets?
500bytes/post.
What is the expected payload?
@15min interval 2kb/hour.
What affects would low signal strength have on the product?
Inconsistent device connectivity, reduced battery life.
Ways to improve signal strength?
In general, talk to your network administrator. Utilizing a business wireless router, rather than a consumer wireless router can enhance performance and help to ensure consistent and reliable connectivity.
